Should I Watch Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki Yonsatsume?

It's quite frankly almost a surprise that Yatogame-chan actually made it to season 4.

This anime continues the slice of life, probably 'conversation heavy' theme with still the same topic of students from different parts of Japan telling about how proud they are of their localities.

It is extremely short, at just around 3 minutes per episode, same as its prequels, so the entire season only take about half an hour to finish. Short animes like this tend to be conversation heavy. But the good side is it doesn't take long to watch the whole thing.

The story is 100% talking about the different local cultures, like foods or events or tradition, of different Japanese cities, to the point of almost seeming like a tour destination ad. If you're looking for a story rich, development rich anime, this has none of that.

I personally like this one purely out of interest in the different parts of Japan and their culture presented in a funny way, and the fairly cute character designs.

However, I can see myself getting bored if this series were full length episodes. Therefore it probably helped that the season took about the same time as one full length episode to finish.
