Should I Watch Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu?

Ok so from the start, judging from the title, I sort of guessed that it won't exactly be the cliche isekai dating sim game world kind of anime. I was right, this one is definitely interesting. But that may be a personal opinion.

Firstly, yes the story is about a main character who is just living his life playing a game, in this case an otoge, and then gets sent to that very game's world. If you find that plot very similar to another anime, you would be right, it's Bakarina.

But Otome Game Sekai Mob was still very enjoyable to watch. I do feel that the beginning parts had me prepare for a character development heavy story, but it then turned into a high paced, slightly action packed story with a, surprisingly, OP MC. Except in this case the MC stands for mob character.

The journey throughout turned out quite funny, despite the pace being kind of all over the place. Most of the characters are still a little cliche, however.

Fans of OP MC trope will surely enjoy this anime too, as the scenes where our mob gets OP is definitely cool, and relatively hilarious at the same time. Admittedly it's not the most unique, but I enjoyed every minute of this series.

The art also turned out decent. I mean, it's fairly the typical anime art style. But it works fine here, overall graphics look good.

So, yes, I recommend this almost as much as I would recommend Bakarina. Here's to hoping that a sequel will be made!
